Pop-punk star Avril Lavigne’s ‘Alice (Underground)’ is set to be the lead single from the soundtrack album for Tim Burton’supcoming ‘Alice In Wonderland,’ according to the Myspace Music Blog.
The soundtrack, titled ‘Almost Alice,’ leans heavily toward indie rock and pop-punk with tracks from Owl City, Motion City Soundtrack, 3OH!3, Shinedown, Metro Station, All Time Low, Robert Smith from the Cure and a collab between Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus and Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz.
The album will be in stores on March 2.
There will also be another album of ‘Alice’ music, featuring the Danny Elfman original score, out March 2.
The highly anticipated ‘Alice In Wonderland,’ starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway, is set for a March 5 release.
