Ke$ha Hits The Desert For 'Your Love Is My Drug' Video

'Tik Tok' singer filmed third video from Animal LP.

Ke$ha on the set of her "Your Love Is My Drug" video

Ke$ha is gearing up to tour with Rihanna this summer, but not before taking time out to shoot the third video from her Animal album, "Your Love Is My Drug." The clip was filmed on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week and features Ke$ha hanging out in the California desert.

The video reportedly "follows Ke$ha on a fun journey through an animated world" and was shot in Lancaster, California. In it, Ke$ha is seen dancing and performing near sand dunes while wearing a khaki-colored bathing suit; she's also seen wrapped in what appears to be a fishing net.

While she was all by her lonesome during the sunset scenes, once the sun went down, she filmed a kissing scene with an unidentified guy next to a campfire. Later on, Ke$ha performed — under black lights while wearing body paint — near some giant rock boulders. The video follows up Ke$ha's other clips for her hits "Tik Tok" and "Blah Blah Blah."

Ke$ha actually worked with her mom, Pebe Sebert, on several Animal tracks, including "Your Love Is My Drug." She's previously described the track as one that delves into the sordid details of her love life. "I wrote a few songs with my mom, who's a sick writer, and taught me everything I know about songwriting," she said.

"My mom and I are best friends, so it really comes naturally. She taught me how to write my first song. I can also be really honest with her. We're like best friends and there are no really forbidden topics."

Are you looking forward to Ke$ha's new video? What do you think will happen in it? Let us know in the comments below!

LADY GAGA, ASHLEY TISDALE TO JOIN ‘FINAL DESTINATION 5’

It’s been a couple of weeks since we learned that Final Destination 5 is in the works.

The latest rumor has it, High School Musical cutie Ashley Tisdale and fashion model Adam Bertrand are among those attached to the project.

Warner Bros’ Alan Horn told TMZ.com that Bertrand and Tisdale had been cast in February. When asked at the ShoWest convention whether or not Tisdale or Bertrand would be appearing, he simply smiled at the cameras and entered his awaiting SUV.

What Horn did reveal is that this installment will be longer than 2009’s The Final Destination that scored more than $180 million in the global box office mostly due to being released in 3D.

In the mean time, Bertrand will be opening for pop superstar Lady Gaga during her performances at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA on August 16th and 17th. Fans have made it clear that they hope Gaga, who is said to be best friends with Bertrand and has casted him in several of her music videos, will make a cameo appearance in Final Destination 5, which would be her first movie role.

Likewise, fans have expressed interest in seeing any number of Tisdale’s High School Musical costars make appearances.

Miley Cyrus' Next Album Has a Bit of Lady GaGa

Miley Cyrus will adapt a little bit of Lady GaGa music to her new album. Dishing about what to expect from the new set, the 17-year-old told MTV News, "My new record has more of a techno vibe on some stuff. It's fun. You know, I just want to kind of do all different types of music, same as I do with movies. I never want to get stuck in a rut and just do one thing."

The leading lady of "The Last Song" spilled that the record will come out in summer, before gushing further, "[The album is] a little different. It's kind of poppier, but then it still has an edge. All of my music kind of has to." She added, "I think it's really fun. It's definitely a good summer CD. It's good to blast in your car."

While saying that she is excited about the album and looking forward for its release, Miley is consistent in admitting she is ready to take a break from music. "I have one more record coming out this summer in June, and then after that, I want to take a step back from music for a while," she said. "I want to continue to do film. Later in life, another record. But for now, I'd like to focus on movies."
