Rumor : Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga

Angelina Jolie Had Affair with Lady Gaga !!

Ian Halperin claims Angelina cheated on Brad Pitt

Over the weekend, the British tabloids got a hold of a story saying that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had met with an attorney to discuss the future of their children, since they were not married and provisions had to be made. This, in turn, led to speculation that they were on the verge of breaking up – a breakup in which Jolie’s affair with singer Lady Gaga might have played a part, Ian Halperin claims.

Ian Halperin is, for those who are not familiar with his name, an investigative journalist that also covered the life of Princess Diana and Michael Jackson. Just recently, Halperin came out with a book titled “Brangelina Exposed,” which, as its name implies, exposed the Brangelina couplefor a pair of hypocrites manipulating the public. Now, Halperin claims to have knowledge that Jolie’s infidelity might have also played a part in her recent (rumored) separation from Pitt.

“A source close to the actress told IUC late last night that there was recently a secret rendezvous between the two at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel that lasted all night. Apparently, Angie is obsessed with Lady Gaga. Still, I reserve judgment on this one until I see more proof. Developing…” Halperin writes on IanUndercover, his official website. So far, as one can easily imagine, this tidbit has been welcome with nothing but sneers and laughter. In fact, some even says a more likely pairing would have been that of Jolie with Madonna.

Officially, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still an item, unnamed friends are telling the media. However, the thing that started all this rumor frenzy, the meeting with their attorney on money issues, did take place – it just didn’t happen for the reasons named by the tabloid media. Far from breaking up, the two stars are thinking ahead and planning for their children’s future, all six of them (Brad and Angie share custody of 6 kids, 3 adopted and 3 biological).

“The power couple did indeed visit a high-powered L.A. lawyer last week – but only to cover their assets. ‘They aren’t married, so they need to protect their children and property in case there’s a rift in the future,’ a source says. That certainly makes sense, considering the two are worth a whopping $330 million combined,” the NY Daily News was saying a couple of days ago, as we also noted.

Apple iPad

Apple iPad

After months of speculation and rumors, it’s official: The Apple iPad is real. The device, announced earlier today by Apple CEO Steve Jobs, is designed to fill the perceived gap between the smartphone and the laptop.
With literally thousands of articles and blog posts being written about Apple’s new device, it’s easy to experience information overload.

Highlights:

View pictures, sites, and videos at a bigger and clearer scale with its 9.7-inch IPS display screen with 1024x768 pixels;
Get a better browsing and gaming experience with the use of Apple's own A4 1GHz chip, which gives more processing power to the gadget;
Feel no heaviness because it's just 0.5-inch thin and 1.5 pounds heavy. It's thinner and lighter than any netbook;

It has Bluetooh 2.1, WiFi 802.11n, an optional 3G, and 10 hours battery life (or a month of standby).
iPad is built with accelerometer, compass, speaker, mic, and dock connectors; and,
Use it to store iBooks, access iWorks/iTunes/Calendar/Contacts/Notes, or sych your music like an iPod or iPhone.

The price starts at $499 -- isn't that bad for such a gadget
Wifi - $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32 GB, $699 for 64GB
WiFi +3G - $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32 GB, $829 for 64GB

Lowlights:

Obviously, the name wasn't well thought of. Might create confusion to store personnel in countries who aren't that good in English. Customers might ask for an iPod but may pronounce it as iPad.
Multitasking is not allowed. Ideally, it will be better to have a gadget allowing its user to have his YM open for chat and still be able to write a document.
No back and front cameras. Laptops and even cameras have this, how come Steve Jobs' gadget doesn't?
It's not widescreen to be able to watch a good Star Trek movie and the likes.
No Flash for websites, which will obviously leave a huge area of a website empty.
Absence of adapters like USB and card slots to expand its memory.
A closed app ecosystem allowing only applications from the App Store.
In conclusion, I myself got disappointed of what I saw during the launch. People, including myself, were expecting for a tablet or perhaps a gadget that can replace a netbook. What we saw today is just a bigger scale of an iPhone or an iTouch. In my opinion, the iPad is just a cool-to-have gadget,-- it's one of those techie stuff where you can say "I want it" instead of "I need it." Nevertheless, in the end, it'll always the preference of a person whether he sees it to be useful or not.

Rihanna Tells Haitian People: 'We Are Not Going To Leave You Stranded'

Rihanna Tells Haitian People: 'We Are Not Going To Leave You Stranded'
'This is really a song for Haiti,' she says of 'Hope for Haiti Now' collaboration with Jay-Z and U2.

LONDON — At precisely 10:30 p.m. here in London — two and a half hours before the start of Friday night's (January 22) "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon — Rihanna was finally in the same room as Jay-Z, Bono and The Edge, her three collaborators on "Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)," the song they had recorded just three days earlier in studios all around the world.

The four, backed by Jay's cracking live band and a full gospel choir, were about to perform the song together for the first time, in front of a studio of television producers and, really, the entire world. But not a single one of them was nervous. Rather, they saw it as a tremendous opportunity — not just to help the victims of last week's devastating earthquake, but to remind them that they will never be left stranded, not even after the TV cameras leave and the focus of the globe shifts elsewhere.

"I got the call three days ago to be a part of this. Bono and Jay-Z called me up, they wanted me to be a part of it, and, of course, anything that can help Haiti, I want to be a part of," Rihanna told MTV News on Friday night. "This song is really important. Lyrically, Jay-Z gets really, really deep in his verses, more than I've ever heard him get. He gets really real. I know a couple of people he's singing about. We have mutual friends that suffered loss, they lost their family, they lost friends, and it really hits home. So this is really a song for Haiti, letting them know we are not going to leave you stranded; we are going to do every last thing to help you. You are not alone."

Her voice trembled slightly as she spoke — just more proof of how deeply this tragedy has affected her. Like she said earlier in the week on "Oprah," where she performed a haunting version of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song," she's from the Caribbean nation of Barbados. It's not a stretch to say the footage coming out of Haiti hit her close to home.

"When I first heard about it, I was at home, and I kind of didn't believe it. I was in such shock. An earthquake in Haiti was shocking to begin with. And [one of] that extent; a 7.0, that's huge, that's unheard of," she said. "And being from the Caribbean, I was in shock for a long time. And when I started looking at the pictures, at the footage, seeing that little boy get beaten up for food, seeing people trapped under the rubble, kids not knowing where their parents are, bodies just getting dropped outside of the hospitals, that just made it really real.

"It made me want to do something about it, I wanted to help, because we all have to help," she continued. "And now my role is to encourage more people to help, to join with me to help."

'Hope For Haiti Now' Performers

On the red carpet at Sunday night's Golden Globe Awards, George Clooneyrevealedhow the global fundraiser came together. "You guys started it," the actor said. "The first call I made was to Judy [McGrath, MTV Networks' chief executive]. She said, 'Yes, everybody will do it, everybody's in' and that they were thinking of doing it too. They got the ball rolling and we got every single network after that. So congratulations to you!"

Before the telethon airs, Clooney wanted to remind young people that there are many ways to help the people of Haiti.

"I would say, 'Get involved, whatever you do,' " the Oscar-winner said. "This is about compassion. There are times in our lives when people are really without help and in real danger, and this is one of those times. So whatever they can do -- give money to one of the organizations that they like the best."
